Flu Bomb Recipe

This flu bomb recipe can make a big difference in fighting symptoms and boosting immunity during flu season.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Hot Water
  • 4 oz Green Tea
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Tumeric Powder
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger (minced)
  • 1 Lemon (juiced — discard flesh of lemon or use for another recipe)
  • 2 tbsp Local Honey

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water and steep the green tea for 3-5 minutes
  • Chop, grate, and otherwise prepare the remainder of the ingredients
  • Add the prepared ingredients to a glass cup or heat-safe jar
  • Pour the steeped tea over the ingredients and mix well
  • Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes
  • Strain the mixture with a fine mesh sieve or tea strainer and drink it
  • Discard or compost the pulp strained from the mixture
